Review of the Occamo DROPS PRO Headphones
First Impressions — Modern Headphones with Future-Ready Features
In the wireless earbud market, it’s hard to find a device that can truly surprise you anymore. Most manufacturers focus on improving sound quality, extending battery life, or adding new active noise-cancellation options. The Occamo DROPS PRO takes a slightly different approach. From the very first glance, it’s clear that the manufacturer has opted to combine classic TWS headphone features with AI-based solutions. The result is a pair of earbuds that perform well whether you’re listening to music, gaming, taking phone calls, or communicating with people who speak a different language—all for less than 130 zł (gross).
After a few weeks of use, I can say that while they aren’t perfect, they’re one of the most interesting models I’ve had the chance to test in their price range—especially when you consider the number of features available through the dedicated app.
Occamo DROPS PRO
The mobile app—the true command center
With the Occamo DROPS PRO, the app isn’t just an add-on that you install once and then forget about. It’s the app that’s responsible for most of the features that set this model apart from the competition.
A major plus is that the interface is fully translated into Polish. Thanks to this, even people who aren’t comfortable with English-language apps will have no trouble configuring all the features. The process of pairing the earbuds with your phone is quick and intuitive.

From within the app, you can, among other things, use AI translation, check the battery level, activate gaming mode, switch between headphone modes, locate the device, or customize the sound profile to your preferences.
A very useful feature is the ability to locate the earbuds. Anyone who uses wireless earbuds knows how easily one of them can get lost between the sofa cushions, in the car, or in a backpack pocket. Being able to check their location provides an extra sense of security and helps you avoid unnecessary stress.
Live AI Translation—a Feature That Really Makes Sense
The biggest standout feature of the Occamo DROPS PRO is undoubtedly its AI-powered translation. Many people might view this feature as just a marketing gimmick, but after a few tests, it turns out to have quite practical applications.
In practice, the conversation is first captured by the app, then translated by AI, and displayed as text on the phone screen. Only after a moment is the translated content read aloud through the headphones.

It’s worth noting that the translation isn’t entirely instantaneous yet. There’s a slight delay due to the need to process what’s being said. First, we see the text, and then we hear it read aloud. However, this doesn’t interfere with a normal conversation and proves extremely useful in many situations.
Whether you’re traveling abroad, conducting business, or simply chatting with people who speak a different language, this feature can be a real help. Instead of constantly pulling out your phone and using a traditional translation app, most of the process happens automatically.
ANC – very close to what AirPods offer
Active noise cancellation was one of the biggest surprises for me during testing.
While riding a bike, the level of ambient noise suppression is very similar to what I’m used to with AirPods. In both cases, there’s still a characteristic whooshing sound caused by movement, but the vast majority of ambient noise is effectively reduced.
In everyday use, the difference is even more noticeable. On public transportation, in a shopping mall, or at the office, the conversations of people nearby are practically inaudible. The music comes to the forefront, and the user can focus on the content they’re listening to without having to turn the volume up to very high levels.
Of course, this isn’t the level of absolute silence found in the most expensive premium headphones that cost several times as much, but within its price range, ANC works really effectively, and it’s hard to find much to complain about.
Gaming Mode – Not Just “gaming”
Many headphones today are marketed as gaming headphones, but in practice, the difference between standard and gaming modes is often hard to notice. With the Occamo DROPS PRO, it’s different.
Once gaming mode is activated, the delay between video and audio is significantly reduced. This is particularly noticeable when gaming on a smartphone or handheld consoles.
These headphones really shine during horror games and titles designed to build tension. Creaking doors, an opponent’s footsteps, ambient sounds, and sudden sound effects all occur exactly when they should. This makes gameplay more immersive, and the atmosphere has a much stronger impact on the player.
Sound Quality and Music Profiles
In terms of sound, the Occamo DROPS PRO pleasantly surprise right out of the box, but they only reveal their true potential once you take advantage of the customization options.
The manufacturer has included several preset sound profiles, such as Default, Pop, Dance Music, Classical, Jazz, and Relaxing Music. Additionally, users can create their own settings and customize the sound profile to suit their preferences.
This approach makes the headphones well-suited for listening to everything from high-energy electronic music to mellow jazz, rock, podcasts, and audiobooks. The bass remains pleasantly noticeable, vocals are clear, and the high frequencies don’t become tiring even during listening sessions lasting several hours.
Everyday Comfort
The earbuds are lightweight, well-contoured, and sit securely in your ears. Even after several hours of use, I didn’t feel any discomfort or fatigue. The package includes several ear tips to ensure a perfect fit for your ears.
The stability of the Bluetooth connection is also a plus. During testing, I didn’t experience any accidental disconnections, and pairing with my phone was quick and hassle-free. Gesture control is also available here. Additionally, in the app, you can set what actions a double-tap and other gestures trigger.

Case It’s compact and fits easily in a pants or jacket pocket, so you can always have the earbuds with you.
What could be improved?
If I had to point out areas that need refinement, there are primarily two issues.
The first is the design of the case. It’s not about build quality, which is actually quite good. The problem arises when quickly putting the earbuds away. Their placement could be more intuitive, as it sometimes takes a moment to get them to fit correctly into the charging slots. It’s a minor detail, but it’s noticeable during daily use.
The second drawback is that it doesn’t remember the last selected mode. If you set active noise cancellation or another preferred mode, once you place the earbuds back in the case and take them out again, they revert to the default settings. This means you have to open the app each time and reactivate the selected setting. This isn’t a major drawback, but it’s definitely something the manufacturer could improve in future updates.
Summary
The Occamo DROPS PRO are headphones that will surprise you with the number of features they offer. In addition to solid sound quality, you get effective ANC, a very good gaming mode, a feature-rich mobile app with Polish language support, a device location feature, and AI translation, which—despite minor delays—can actually prove useful in everyday life.
The biggest advantage of these headphones is that they don’t try to compete solely on sound quality. Instead, they offer a suite of features that simply make them more convenient to use. If you’re looking for modern headphones equipped with features that go beyond standard music playback, the Occamo DROPS PRO is a model definitely worth considering.
