TYPES OF PROJECTORS

Projectors are divided into four types based on the method of image creation:

• LCD (Liquid Crystal Display),
• DLP (Digital Light Processing),
• CRT (Cathode Ray Tube),
• Light Valve.

For portable projectors, only the first two technologies (LCD and DLP) are used. CRT technology is associated with a large device mass, making such devices unsuitable for mobile applications. In the case of Light Valve, despite providing perfect image quality, it is rarely used due to its very high cost.

PRESENTATIONS WITHOUT A COMPUTER

There are multimedia projectors on the market that allow presentations without using a computer. Some manufacturers have equipped their devices with a memory card reader, the same as used in laptops. The card has the ability to save the entire presentation and play it back without using a computer. With this solution, you can play files from PowerPoint, images in JPEG format, AVI and MOV video files, as well as WAV audio files.
